Description

(PEO-Alkyne)2-(PS-N3)2 is a block copolymer composed of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and polystyrene (PS) segments. The PEO segments are functionalized with terminal alkyne groups, while the PS segments have terminal azide groups. This amphiphilic copolymer is designed to combine the hydrophilic properties of PEO with the hydrophobic characteristics of PS. The presence of both alkyne and azide functional groups allows for various bioorthogonal chemistries, such as click reactions, which are useful in bioconjugation, drug delivery, and material science applications.
