Description

N3-Ar-N3 represents a diazido-aryl compound where two azide groups are attached to an aromatic ring (Ar). The azide groups in N3-Ar-N3 are highly reactive and can participate in click chemistry reactions, particularly the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) and strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). This allows for the efficient conjugation with alkyne-functionalized molecules. In addition, the combination of azide groups and an aromatic ring allows for the creation of functional materials with specific properties. For example, the aromatic ring can contribute to electronic or optical properties, while the azide groups provide reactivity for further modifications.
