Description

N3-PEG6-COOH (Azide-PEG6-COOH / Azido-PEG6-Acid) is a compound that combines an azide group with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain and a carboxylic acid group. The azide group is highly reactive and can be used in click chemistry reactions, such as the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). This allows for the conjugation of PEG6-COOH with other molecules, including proteins, peptides, or small molecules, via a bio-orthogonal reaction. The PEG chain provides water solubility and can be used to modify drugs or therapeutic agents.
