t-ATPET (Trifunctional azide terminated ethylene oxide-tetrahydrofuran copolyether) is a copolymer composed of ethylene oxide (EO) and tetrahydrofuran (THF), terminated with azide functional groups at the ends. t-ATPET is an excellent substrate for click chemistry due to the presence of azide groups. Azide-alkyne cycloaddition allows for the attachment of a wide range of functional groups or molecules. It can be used to functionalize surfaces or modify other polymers, creating materials with tailored properties for specific applications, such as drug delivery, coatings, or sensors. The trifunctional azide groups make it possible to form branched or cross-linked polymers, enabling the creation of hydrogels, dendrimers, or other complex architectures.
