Description

H-Arg(Pbf)-Chlorotrityl Polystyrene Resin is an indispensable tool in SPPS for synthesizing peptides that have C-terminal arginine, especially when high purity and minimal side reactions are needed. Its use extends across pharmaceutical research, structural biology, and the development of bioactive peptides. The arginine is protected by a Pbf group, which prevents unwanted side reactions during peptide elongation. Pbf is easily removed under standard deprotection conditions (e.g., strong TFA solutions), making it a preferred protecting group for arginine in SPPS. Polystyrene resin is an essential material for a wide range of uses in research, diagnostics, medical devices, and multiple industial applications from packaging to construction.
