Description

HSPC/Chol (55/45, mol/mol) Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder can be used for the delivery of mRNA vaccines in infectious diseases or cancer immunotherapy. Additionally, they can facilitate siRNA-based therapies for the treatment of conditions like genetic disorders, HIV, or neurodegenerative diseases. Liposomes are particularly effective for the delivery of RNA-based therapies, such as mRNA, siRNA, miRNA, and antisense oligonucleotides. HSPC/Chol liposomes, due to their stability and the ability to protect encapsulated RNA from degradation, are well-suited for RNA vaccines or gene silencing therapies. Beyond, liposomes, particularly HSPC/Chol formulations, have been studied for the delivery of drugs to the retina for the treatment of ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma.
