Description

Fluorescent Phosphatidylserine (PS)-based ATP Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder have a wide array of applications across medicine, biology, and nanotechnology due to their unique combination of biological targeting (via PS), therapeutic delivery (via ATP), and imaging capabilities (via fluorescence). PS-targeting enhances uptake by antigen-presenting cells. ATP boosts these cells’ metabolic activity, enhancing their capacity to present antigens to T-cells. In addition, neurons and glial cells heavily depend on ATP for maintaining ion gradients and synaptic transmission. PS-based ATP liposomes can target these cells, delivering ATP directly to energy-deprived regions, which is beneficial in conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or stroke recovery. Moreover, ATP promotes cell migration, proliferation, and extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition at wound sites. PS liposomes improve delivery to immune cells like macrophages and fibroblasts at the injury site.
