Description

Fluorescent (DiO) Immunoliposomes-Biotin (Non-PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder can be used to investigate how changes in lipid composition, such as incorporating lipid raft-forming lipids, impact signal transduction pathways. This is useful for studying the role of lipid rafts in cellular communication, immune cell activation, and tumor progression. DiO is a green fluorescent lipophilic dye that is incorporated into the lipid bilayer. DiO emits fluorescence in the green region (approximately 490 nm) when excited with the appropriate wavelength. Biotin binds strongly and specifically to streptavidin or avidin, enabling easy conjugation to additional molecules such as antibodies, small molecules, or other targeting ligands.
