Description

Fluorescent (NBD lipid (headgroup)) Immunoliposomes-Amine (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder are designed for a range of applications, including targeted drug delivery, real-time imaging, and gene therapy, while providing significant benefits in terms of biodistribution monitoring and therapeutic precision. The NBD group is a fluorescent tag commonly used in liposomal formulations. When integrated into the headgroup of a phospholipid, it imparts a strong fluorescence signal that can be excited by ultraviolet or blue light (~465 nm excitation) and emits at ~535 nm (green). Immunoliposomes are functionalized with antibodies or other targeting molecules (e.g., peptides, aptamers) on the surface. These ligands allow for the selective targeting of specific cells or tissues expressing particular surface markers.
