Description

Fluorescent (Pyrene lipid) Immunoliposomes-PDP (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder can be used to deliver antigens to immune cells (e.g., dendritic cells) for vaccine development. The pyrene fluorescence allows for the monitoring of antigen uptake, immune response, and the effectiveness of the vaccine formulation. In addition, the pyrene lipid in the immunoliposomes makes them ideal for fluorescence-based point-of-care diagnostic devices. These liposomes can be designed to detect disease biomarkers (e.g., viral infections, cancer markers, inflammatory cytokines) in blood, urine, or saliva. The fluorescent signal can be used in lateral flow assays or microfluidic chips to provide rapid diagnostic results at the point of care.
