Description

PS-based Fluoroliposome-Pyrene lipid-Azide, Lyophilized Powder can be modified with targeting ligands (e.g., transferrin, low-density lipoprotein (LDL)) to enhance the ability of the liposomes to cross the BBB. Targeting the blood-brain barrier (BBB) is a significant challenge in drug delivery, particularly for neurological diseases. The Pyrene fluorescence can be used to monitor the liposome distribution in brain tissues and evaluate how well the liposomes can penetrate the BBB and reach the target cells within the brain. This system is useful for developing neurotherapeutics, gene therapies, and targeted drug delivery systems for treating neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and glioblastoma.
