Neutral Fluoroliposome-DBCO, Lyophilized Powder is made up of a lipid bilayer that encapsulates a fluorescent compound, with an azide group on the lipid or surface, which can then undergo click chemistry reactions using a DBCO (Dibenzocyclooctyne) functional group. It can be used to deliver therapeutic agents to specific cells or tissues. The ability to functionalize the liposome surface with targeting molecules such as antibodies, peptides, or small molecules that have been conjugated to an azide group allows for highly selective targeting of disease sites (e.g., cancer cells, infected tissues).
