Description

Neutral Fluoroliposome-DiA-DBCO, Lyophilized Powder is a specialized liposomal formulation that incorporates a fluorescent lipid (DiA) and a chemical moiety (DBCO) for click chemistry applications. The liposome is made of neutral lipids, which ensures that it does not carry a net charge. This helps avoid non-specific interactions with biomolecules or cell membranes, enhancing targeted delivery and reducing immune recognition. DiA (3,3′-Dihexadecylindocarbocyanine) is a lipophilic, fluorescent dye that is used for its strong fluorescence properties. It is incorporated into the lipid bilayer of the liposome, enabling fluorescence-based tracking and imaging. The DBCO group is an alkyne derivative that is reactive with azide-modified molecules in a strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reaction.
