Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S Dawson MeDbz RAM Resin (Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S Dawson MeDbz Rink Amide Linker Resin) refers to a flexible solid-phase resin that supports solid-phase peptide synthesis, metal-catalyzed reactions, bioconjugation, and organic synthesis. The MeDbz group is a methyl ester of 4,5-dihydrobenzoic acid, an aromatic compound with a fused ring structure. The methyl ester group (-COOCH₃) makes it more reactive and more easily cleaved in chemical reactions, such as acid hydrolysis or nucleophilic substitution. The Rink Amide linker is a widely used cleavable linker in solid-phase peptide synthesis. The linker is designed to attach peptides or small molecules to the solid support while providing a cleavage site that releases the synthesized compound under specific conditions.
