Neutral L-alpha-PC/CHOL Fluorescent Liposome, DiO Labeled refers to liposomes primarily composed of a neutral mixture of lipids, including L-alpha-phosphatidylcholine (L-alpha-PC) and cholesterol (CHOL) which are labeled with the fluorescent dye DiO (3,3′-Dioctadecyloxacarbocyanine Perchlorate). DiO is a green-fluorescent dye commonly used for labeling cell membranes and lipid bilayers. The presence of DiO enables these liposomes to be used in fluorescence-based experiments for investigating membrane properties and cellular interactions.
