Description

DSPE-PEG8-amido-DBCO is a compound composed of three main components: DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG8 (polyethylene glycol with 8 ethylene glycol units) linker, and amido-DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne with an amide functional group) group. The compound can be incorporated into liposomal formulations to facilitate targeted drug delivery. The DSPE component anchors the compound in the liposomal membrane, while the PEG8 linker and amido-DBCO group contribute to improved stability, water solubility, and bioconjugation capabilities.
