Low Molecular Weight Hylauronic Acid (LMWHA), Biotin Labeled refers to hyaluronic acid with reduced molecular weight that has been conjugated or labeled with biotin, a small molecule that binds strongly to avidin and streptavidin proteins. LMWHA is a form of hyaluronic acid with a smaller molecular weight compared to the native high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Biotin is a small molecule that forms a strong, non-covalent bond with avidin and streptavidin proteins. This interaction is commonly exploited in various biological assays for detection, isolation, and affinity-based applications.
