Positively DOTAP-Based Fluorescent Liposome, DiR Labeled refers to a liposomal nanoparticle system primarily composed of cationic DOTAP lipids and labeled with the fluorescent dye DiR (1,1′-Dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-Tetramethylindotricarbocyanine Iodide). These liposomes are well-suited for in vivo imaging. The NIR fluorescence of DiR allows for deep tissue imaging and is advantageous for tracking and visualizing liposomes in living organisms.
