Description

1-Diazidecarbonimidoyl-5-azidotetrazole (DACAT) combines the high reactivity of the azide groups with the stability and electronic properties of the tetrazole ring system. DACAT is of interest in various fields including materials science, chemical synthesis, and possibly in explosive materials due to its energetic properties. Tetrazole ring is known for its stability and is often used in coordination chemistry and energetic materials. Attached to the tetrazole ring is the diazidecarbonimidoyl group.
