[1-N-(4,4′-Dimethoxytrityl)biotinyl-6-aminohexyl]-2-(cyanoethyl-N,N-diisopropyl)phosphoramidite is a biotinylated phosphoramidite used in the synthesis of biotin-labeled oligonucleotides. The phosphoramidite group forms the reactive site for adding the nucleotide to the oligonucleotide chain during synthesis. The phosphoramidite is used in automated synthesizers to incorporate biotin into specific positions in oligonucleotides. The biotin label allows the oligonucleotide to be easily detected or captured using streptavidin or avidin. Biotinylated oligonucleotides can be used in various detection assays, such as fluorescence-based assays or blotting techniques, where the biotin interacts with a streptavidin conjugated to a detectable signal.
