Description

100nm DOPC/CHOL Liposomes labeled with DiA, Lyophilized Powder can be used to track cellular uptake and internalization processes. The high fluorescence intensity of DiA allows for sensitive detection of liposome entry into various cell types. By observing fluorescence via microscopy or flow cytometry, researchers can study the kinetics of liposome internalization and the endocytic pathways involved, such as clathrin-mediated endocytosis, caveolae-dependent uptake, or micropinocytosis. In addition, fluorescent DiA-labeled DOPC/CHOL liposomes in lyophilized powder form are highly advantageous for in vivo studies of liposome biodistribution and pharmacokinetics. After rehydration and injection into animal models, the fluorescence of DiA can be tracked in real time using non-invasive imaging techniques, such as fluorescence imaging or near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging.
