Description

100nm DOPC/CHOL Liposomes labeled with DiD refers to liposomes composed of 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC) and cholesterol (CHOL), with the addition of a lipophilic near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye called DiD (1,1′-Dioctadecyl-3,3,3′,3′-Tetramethylindodicarbocyanine Perchlorate). DiD is a lipophilic near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye. Liposomes labeled with DiD emit light in the near-infrared spectrum, enabling deep tissue penetration and reduced background fluorescence. DiD is well-suited for deep tissue imaging due to its emission in the near-infrared range. Liposomes labeled with DiD can be used for in vivo imaging studies. Additionally, liposomes labeled with DiD can be used for drug delivery applications, allowing researchers to monitor the release and distribution of drugs in vivo with deep tissue imaging capabilities.
