Description

100nm DOPC/CHOL Liposomes labeled with Fluorescein DHPE are prepared by the extrusion method to 100nm with very tight particle size distribution. The incorporation of Fluorescein DHPE allows for real-time visualization and tracking of liposomes within cells, tissues, or biological samples. The lposomes can also serve as model systems for studying lipid-protein interactions and membrane dynamics. The fluorescent label facilitates visualization during these studies. Apart from that, DOPC/CHOL Liposomes labeled with Fluorescein DHPE can be tailored for targeted drug delivery by modifying the liposome surface with ligands or antibodies. The fluorescence label assists in tracking the targeted delivery.
