100nm DOPC/CHOL Liposomes labeled with Texas Red DHPE, Lyophilized Powder are commonly employed to model or study the transport of drugs across the BBB. Texas Red DHPE labeling allows real-time imaging of liposome interactions with endothelial cells of the BBB in vitro or in vivo. In addition, Texas Red-labeled liposomes are valuable for examining interactions within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Since the TME often exhibits acidic conditions, Texas Red DHPE can act as a reporter for changes in fluorescence intensity or quenching in response to pH changes.
