100nm Plain DSPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE Liposomes (50:45:5 mol/mol), Lyophilized Powder can be loaded with fluorescent dyes or contrast agents for use in imaging applications such as MRI or fluorescence imaging. The PEGylation increases the likelihood that the liposomes will reach the target site, improving the specificity and sensitivity of the imaging procedure. These liposomes can also be used to deliver neurotherapeutic agents across the blood-brain barrier (BBB). The extended circulation time and targeting potential make these liposomes suitable for neurological treatments, such as for Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, or neuroinflammation.
