Description

1,4-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, 2,5-bis(2-methoxyethoxy)-, 1,4-dihydrazide is a dihydrazide derivative of 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (also known as terephthalic acid), where the carboxylic acid groups are reacted with hydrazine molecules. Additionally, two 2-methoxyethoxy (-OCH2CH2OCH3) groups are attached at the 2 and 5 positions of the benzene ring. It can be used as a monomer for the synthesis of polymeric materials through condensation polymerization reactions.
