Description

16:0-18:2 PA (PLinPA) or 1-palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) is a sodium salt of phosphatidic acid, with substitution of palmitic acid and linolenic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions respectively, in the glycerol backbone. It can be used as a standard in thin-layer chromatography (TLC) for the separation of ginger and grapefruit exosome-like nanoparticles (ELN)-derived lipids. It can also be used in filter-blotting assay, to study the interaction of AT-hook motif-containing nuclear localized protein 4 (Ahl4) with PA. This product is available in chloroform and powder.
