Description

2-Bromo-2,2-dimethyl-acetamido-PEG3-acid can be used for site-specific modification of proteins and peptides. The bromoacetamido group can react with thiol groups present in cysteine residues of proteins, enabling controlled PEGylation. Additionally, the carboxylic acid terminus allows for conjugation to various surfaces, making it useful for modifying nanoparticles, microspheres, or solid supports.
