2′-F-U Polystyrene Resin is applied to the synthesis of RNA oligonucleotides that are fluorine-modified at the 2′ position. This modification is important because it increases the resistance of RNA molecules to degradation by ribonucleases, making these modified oligonucleotides more stable and suitable for therapeutic and experimental applications. 2′-F-modified uridine residues can be incorporated into siRNA (small interfering RNA) or antisense oligonucleotides to improve their efficacy by increasing their biological stability and enhancing their ability to bind to target mRNA sequences.
