4-Arm PEG-Biotin is often used to modify surfaces or biomolecules by attaching biotin groups. Biotin has a strong affinity for avidin and streptavidin, enabling the immobilization of biomolecules such as proteins, antibodies, or DNA onto various surfaces coated with avidin or streptavidin.
