Description

4-Arm PEG-Thiol (4-arm PEG-SH) is a thiol branched PEG polymer which can react with maleimide via formation of thioether bond. 4-Arm PEG, which stands for four-arm polyethylene glycol, and Thiol, which signifies the presence of a sulfur-hydrogen (-SH) reactive group. Thiol can also form metal-thiolate complex with a transition metal. Applications of 4-Arm PEG-Thiol include bioconjugation, hydrogel formation, biomedical coating and drug delivery.
