68Ga-NOTA-Tz is a radiopharmaceutical that combines the chelating agent NOTA (1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid) with a tetrazine moiety and the radionuclide Gallium-68 (^68Ga). 68Ga-NOTA-Tz is used for PET imaging to visualize specific biological targets. The tetrazine moiety allows for precise labeling of biomolecules or imaging agents through bioorthogonal reactions with strained alkynes. It can also be used to target and image specific biomarkers associated with tumors. This allows for accurate localization and monitoring of cancerous lesions.
