Description

ACA-PEG-NH-MAL (Acrylamide-PEG-NH-Maleimide) can be used to form hydrogels through the thio-Michael addition reaction. In combination with thiol-containing polymers or peptides, it leads to the formation of covalent crosslinks, enabling the creation of hydrogel networks with controlled properties. In addition, it can be used to functionalize the surface of nanoparticles, liposomes, or other drug delivery carriers. This functionalization can provide stability and allow for the attachment of targeting ligands or other functional moieties.
