Description

Acrylamide-PEG-SH (Acrylamide-PEG-Thiol, ACA-PEG-SH) is a linear bifunctional PEG reagent with an acrylamide group that can be used for radical initiator or UV light induced polymerization. It is often used to prepare PEG hydrogel. Instead of an ester linkage in PEG-Acrylate, PEG-Acrylamide has a more stable amide linker. PEG-methacrylamide is provided through our custom synthesis service. It has a reactive free thiol, SH group that selectively reacts with maleimide and novel metal surface including gold, silver. It is useful for reversible PEGylation.
