Acrylate-PEG-Maleimide (ACRL-PEG-MAL, α-Acryloyl-ω-maleinidyl poly(ethylene glycol)) is a linear heterobifunctional PEG reagent. which contains maleimide groups and acrylate groups, respectively. Maleimides react with thiols, SH, sulfhydryl or sulfhydryl groups, and acrylates can be polymerized under UV light or free radical initiators.
