Description

Alkyne-PEG-Thiol (ALK-PEG-SH) consists of a PEG linker with an alkyne group and a thiol group at each end. The alkyne group is a carbon-carbon triple bond used for copper-free click chemistry reactions. PEG is a hydrophilic polymer composed of repeating units of ethylene glycol. It is frequently used in bioconjugation to enhance solubility, reduce immunogenicity, and improve the overall pharmacokinetics of molecules. Thiol groups can form stable thioether bonds with these reactive groups.
