Description

Alkyne-SS-PCL combines the biodegradable and biocompatible properties of polycaprolactone with the reactive alkyne group and a redox-sensitive disulfide bond. PCL is a biodegradable polymer derived from the ring-opening polymerization of caprolactone. It has a repeating ester linkage in its polymer chain. It is known for its biocompatibility, biodegradability, and mechanical properties. Alkyne-SS-PCL can be blended with other polymers or materials to form composites with enhanced or tailored properties. The addition of alkyne-SS-PCL can improve mechanical strength, flexibility, or specific functionalities of the blend.
