Description

Alkyne-terminated (PDMAEMA-co-PPEGMA) is a copolymer with segments of poly(N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) and poly(poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate), featuring alkyne groups at its chain ends. The hydrophilic PPEGMA segments can form hydrogels, which can be used for tissue engineering, wound healing, or as drug delivery systems. The alkyne termination allows for further modification of the hydrogel properties. The cationic PDMAEMA segments can facilitate the binding and delivery of nucleic acids or other therapeutic agents. The alkyne-terminated ends allow for the conjugation of targeting ligands or additional functional groups via click chemistry.
