alpha-Biotin-omega-carboxysuccinimidyl ester poly(ethyleneglycol) (α-Biotin-ω-carboxysuccinimidyl ester poly(ethyleneglycol) / Biotin-PEG-COO-Su) combines the advantages of biotin for specific binding, PEG for solubility and stability, and the NHS ester for efficient conjugation. The biotinylated PEG can be used to conjugate antigens to carrier proteins or adjuvants. This can enhance the immune response by presenting the antigen in a more effective manner. In addition to traditional assays, α-Biotin-ω-carboxysuccinimidyl ester PEG can be used in advanced diagnostic assays for detecting biomarkers with high specificity and sensitivity.
