Description

Aminooxy-PEG3-bromide HCl salt contains a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with three ethylene glycol units (PEG3) terminated by an aminooxy (NH2O) functional group and a bromide counterion in the form of a hydrochloride salt (HCl). The aminooxy group is commonly used in bioconjugation chemistry for selective labeling and modification of biomolecules, particularly through oxime or hydrazone bond formation with aldehydes or ketones. The bromide ion serves as a counterion to balance the positive charge of the protonated amino group in the hydrochloride salt form of the compound (HCl salt).
