AzProNCA (Azide-Modified Proline N-Carboxyanhydride) is a derivative of proline, one of the naturally occurring amino acids, modified to contain an azide functional group. The N-carboxyanhydride (NCA) form is a reactive monomer that can be used in ring-opening polymerization (ROP) to create polypeptides or peptide-based materials.
