Description

BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP ester is a cleavable ADC linker that contains an ester group, a vinyl carbamate group, and a photoremovable protecting group. PFP ester can be reactive with amine-bearing molecule to form stable amide bond. The Val-Cit will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. As this enzyme is only present in the lysosome, the ADC payload will be released only in the cell. The BCN group can react with azide-tagged biomolecules. BCN-PEG3-VC-PFP Ester prodrug can be activated by light to release the active drug, which can then bind to its target and exert its therapeutic effects.
