BODIPY (Boron-Dipyrromethene) is a family of fluorescent dyes known for their bright fluorescence and photostability. TMR-X indicates a specific fluorescent dye variant with a tetramethylrhodamine (TMR) label, and SE stands for “succinimidyl ester,” which is a reactive group used for conjugating the dye to other molecules.
