Benzoic acid, 4,4′,4”,4”’-(21H,23H-porphine-5,10,15,20-tetrayl)tetrakis-, tetrahydrazide (meso-​tetra(4-​azidocarbonylphenyl)​porphyrin / THPP / 5,​10,​15,​20-​meso-​tetra-​(4-​hydrazidephenyl)​porphyrin) is a compound derived from porphyrin, a large aromatic macrocycle. In this specific compound, four hydrazide groups are attached to a tetraphenylporphyrin core. The tetrahydrazide functionality means that each of the four nitrogen atoms on the porphyrin ring has a hydrazide (-NH-NH2) group attached.
