Description

Biotin-PEG-triethoxysilane can be attached to silica-based surfaces through the triethoxysilane group, forming stable siloxane bonds. This functionalization allows for the immobilization of biotin onto surfaces, creating biotinylated surfaces for subsequent bioconjugation or binding assays. It is also useful in the development of biosensors and diagnostic devices where specific and stable immobilization of biotinylated capture molecules on surfaces is required for sensitive and selective detection of target analytes.
