The biotin moiety targets the conjugate to specific cells, while the tetrazine group allows for precise activation of the photosensitizer, minimizing off-target effects and enhancing therapeutic efficacy. In addition, functionalization of electrode surfaces with Biotin-PEG10-CONH-MeTz can improve the sensitivity and specificity of electrochemical biosensors for detecting a wide range of analytes, including proteins, nucleic acids, and small molecules.
