Description

Biotin-PEG12-Gly-Gly-Gly consists of biotin (vitamin H) linked to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) chain with 12 repeating ethylene glycol units, followed by three glycine (Gly) residues. Biotin-PEG12-Gly-Gly-Gly can modify surfaces of nanoparticles, microplates, or biosensors. The biotin moiety facilitates specific binding to streptavidin-coated surfaces, enabling the immobilization of biotinylated molecules for applications in drug delivery, diagnostics, or biotechnology. By conjugating drugs or nanoparticles to biotin-PEG12-Gly-Gly-Gly via streptavidin-biotin interactions, targeted delivery to biotin receptor-expressing cells (e.g., cancer cells) can be achieved. This enhances therapeutic efficacy while minimizing off-target effects.
