Description

Biotin-PEG4-S-S-NHS can be used to label proteins or peptides with biotin. The NHS ester moiety reacts selectively with primary amines on the target biomolecules, resulting in covalent attachment of the biotin tag via an amide bond. The disulfide bond allows for reversible binding under reducing conditions, enabling controlled release or purification of the labeled proteins.
