Description

Biotin-PEG4-STP Ester refers to a compound comprising biotin, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker, and an STP (succinimidyl-6-(β-maleimidopropionamido)hexanoate) ester functional group. The STP ester is a reactive functional group used for bioconjugation. It consists of a succinimidyl group for reaction with primary amines and a maleimide group for reaction with thiol groups. This dual functionality enables the conjugation of the molecule to both amine- and thiol-containing biomolecules.
