(+)-Biotin-(PEO)3-maleimide combines biotin with a poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) spacer and a maleimide group. (+)-Biotin-(PEO)3-maleimide can be used to label proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules at specific sites. The maleimide group reacts with thiol groups, allowing for precise attachment of the biotinylated tag. Besides, this compound can be used to functionalize nanoparticles with biotin.
